The Principals of APT have been designing, managing and implementing retail based market transformation of ENERGY STAR Appliances Programs for electric and gas utilities since 1989.

Successful program design requires real-world knowledge of the behavior of the targeted market. APT has implemented numerous programs and through their experience they can ensure that the programs they design for our clients maximize participation and success in the field.

Our long-term, national experience in all facets of program design and implementation means that APT has substantial in-house knowledge of past program successes and failures. This hands-on understanding of the many dynamics involved in working with appliance retailers, distributors and manufacturers directly benefit our clients as well as industry actors.  We design and present programs that are desirable and achievable for everyone. 

APT has worked with Sponsors across the country to develop relationships with every major manufacturer of ENERGY STAR qualified appliance products. In doing so, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner in the design and implementation of cooperative promotions.

APT has implemented ENERGY STAR appliance programs in the Northeast since they were first introduced over ten years ago. In addition to their work with the Sponsors of the Northeast ENERGY STAR Appliance and Lighting Working Group (ALWG), APT currently implements ENERGY STAR appliances programs in numerous other states nationwide.
